Privacy policy

The file you choose, its name and the result are never sent to this site or to anyone else. When you scan a QR code with your camera, the video is read on your device in the same way.

Files you download end with “_tools.myutils.me” in their name, and most images and PDFs also name tools.myutils.me as the software that made them. Nothing about you is added.

Two settings: whether you chose the light or dark theme, and your answer to the privacy choice below if you were asked. Both are saved in your browser’s local storage, and you can clear them at any time from your browser’s site settings.

Recent work, so a refresh or a closed tab does not lose it: up to 20 projects you started here (the files and your changes) stay in this browser on this device until you delete them. They are never uploaded.

• Analytics. An analytics service counts visits and which tools and settings are used.
• Session insights. A session-insight service shows how pages are used, such as clicks and scrolling.
• Error monitoring. An error-monitoring service reports errors when a page breaks, so they can be fixed.

Analytics and error reports record how the site is used, such as which tool ran and with which settings, along with general device and browser details. They never receive a file’s contents or its name.

If your browser’s time zone is in Europe, including the UK, the site asks first and loads none of the services above until you allow them. You can change your answer at any time with Privacy choices at the bottom of every page.

You can block cookies or clear this site’s data in your browser settings. The tools keep working without them.
