Add a watermark to your photos
Stamp text or your logo on one photo or a batch, in a corner, the centre or tiled. Everything happens on your device.
Drop photos, or click to choose
JPG, PNG or WebP. Add up to 100 to watermark them together.
Need several changes to one photo? The Photo editor does crop, text, filters and blur together.
How to add a watermark to a photo
- Choose one photo or a whole batch. JPG, PNG and WebP all work, up to 100 at a time.
- Type your text or choose your logo. Pick a spot on the position grid, or tile it across the photo, then set the size, opacity and angle. The photo redraws as you change each setting; drag the divider to compare it with the original.
- Download. Save the photo on screen, or Download all to stamp every photo in the batch with the same settings.
Using your logo as a watermark
Switch to Logo and choose your logo file. A PNG with a transparent background works best: the transparent parts stay see-through, so only the mark itself lands on the photo. A logo on a white box will stamp the white box too. The logo is scaled to the size you pick and keeps its proportions, and the opacity slider fades it like the text.
Where to put a watermark
A watermark is a trade between protection and how much it gets in the way. A small mark in a corner credits you without spoiling the picture, but anyone can crop it off. A repeating, tiled mark is the hardest to remove, because no part of the photo is left clean.

Busiest look; keep the opacity low
For opacity, 30 to 60 percent is usually readable without dominating the photo. White text suits darker photos and black text suits light ones; for a mixed batch, a tiled mark at low opacity shows on both.
Quality and file formats
The watermark is drawn on top of your photo at its full resolution; nothing is resized. A PNG stays PNG and keeps its transparency, and a WebP stays WebP. JPG and WebP photos are saved again at 92 percent quality, which is visually the same as the original for normal viewing. Phone photos keep the right way up. Saving through the canvas also drops the photo's hidden metadata, such as camera details and GPS location. To post or email a big batch, you can compress the watermarked photos or resize them for social media afterwards.
Your photos stay on your device
Most watermark sites upload your photos to their server to stamp them. This tool draws the watermark in your browser, so the photos never leave your computer or phone, even in a batch of 100. There is no account, and nothing is added to your photos except the watermark you set. This tool only adds watermarks; it does not remove them.
