Add emoji to a photo
Search the stickers, tap to add, then move, size and turn them. Your photo stays on your device.
Drop a photo for stickers, or click to choose
JPG, PNG or WebP. It stays on your device.
How it works
- Choose a photo. The sticker picker opens beside it.
- Search and tap an emoji. Try words like heart, party, sun or thumbs. Each tap adds another sticker.
- Place it and download. Drag the sticker to move it, and drag its yellow corner to resize and turn it.
Good uses for emoji stickers
- Cover a face in a group photo before sharing it, with a smiley sized to fit.
- Add a reaction or a mood to a story or a post.
- Point at something with an arrow or a hand.
- Decorate a birthday or holiday photo with cake, balloons or confetti.
To hide a face completely, a sticker is more certain than a light blur: it covers the pixels instead of softening them. For text captions or a frame as well, open the same photo in the photo editor.
Why emoji look different on each device
Stickers are drawn with the emoji font your device already has, so a photo made on an iPhone shows Apple's emoji, on Windows Microsoft's, and on Android Google's. Nothing extra downloads, and once you save the picture, the emoji you saw are part of the image and look the same everywhere it is shared. The photo never leaves your device.

Common questions
How do I put an emoji on a picture?
Choose the photo, search for an emoji, and tap it. Drag it into place, and drag its yellow corner to resize or turn it. Then download.
Can I add several emoji?
Yes. Each tap adds a new sticker, slightly offset so they do not stack exactly on top of each other.
Can I use an emoji to hide a face?
Yes. A sticker covers the pixels underneath, so a face behind it cannot be seen in the saved image. Make it a little larger than the face.
Why does the emoji look different from my friend's phone?
Each device has its own emoji designs. The sticker is drawn with yours, and is fixed into the image when you save it.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. Stickers are drawn onto the photo in your browser, and the file stays on your device.
Is it free?
Yes, with no sign-up and no watermark.
